Dr. Lindley is an Associate Professor of Medicine and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is a clinical investigator specializing in cardio-obstetrics. She is the current Chair of the Cardiovascular Disease in Women Committee of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the ACC Cardio-obstetrics work group. Her clinical and research efforts aim to develop multi-disciplinary solutions to reducing short- and long-term cardiovascular complications of pregnancy in women with congenital and acquired heart disease. Ongoing research efforts are currently centered on addressing the relationship between preeclampsia and short- and long-term adverse cardiovascular disease in women, and healthcare disparities in cardiovascular outcomes contributing to maternal mortality.
