Dianne Zwicke, MD is a cardiology specialist with over 40 years of experience in the management of congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. She served as the medical director for the pulmonary hypertension clinic following 900 patients at the Advocate-Aurora medical center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin She participated in many international and local clinical trials and has received international reputation for her work in the area of pregnancy in women with pulmonary hypertension. Dr Zwicke has been a regular speaker in the CPP congresses over the years. She recently wrote the chapter on pulmonary hypertension and pregnancy in the 4th edition of the textbook on cardiac problems in pregnancy and described her management protocol which has been followed by clinicians all over the world. She has helped to guide the management of over 290 pregnant women with pulmonary hypertension of various etiologies utilizing a multidisciplinary protocol-based algorithm with 100% survival.
