Prof. Samuel Siu received his MD at University of Alberta and underwent postgraduate training at Mayo Clinic, Harvard Teaching Hospitals, and Harvard School of Public Health. He co-established the Pregnancy and Heart Disease program at University of Toronto and his research has received sustained funding by Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Canadian Institutes for Health Research, and Canadian Foundation for Innovation.  Sam obtained his MBA with Distinction from Ivey Business School and was elected class valedictorian. He was the inaugural recipient of the Kent Ueland award and has been recognized by his University for his contributions as a senior researcher, innovator, and distinguished clinician.  Sam is currently Professor of Medicine at Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and Director of Maternal Cardiology.
