Dr. Scott earned her MD from the University of Ottawa in Canada. She completed her Internal Medicine and Cardiology residencies at the Ottawa Hospitals and Heart Institute, where she also served as Chief Internal Medicine Resident and Chief Cardiology Resident. Following this, she pursued an echocardiography and clinical research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
In 2007, Dr. Scott co-founded the MGH Corrigan Women’s Heart Health Program, which has since grown into a comprehensive clinical, educational, and research initiative. In 2023, she was named the inaugural Director of the Mass General Brigham Women’s Heart Health Program, tasked with integrating education, clinical access, and research across the Mass General Brigham healthcare system.
Additionally, Dr. Scott serves as the Director of Cardiovascular Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and holds the inaugural Ellertson Family Endowed Chair in Cardiovascular Medicine.
