Dr. Scott received her MD from the University of Ottawa in Canada.  She completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology Residencies at the Ottawa Hospitals and Heart Institute where she was also Chief Internal Medicine and Chief Cardiology Resident.   She then completed an echocardiography and clinical research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital.  In 2007 she facilitated the development of the MGH Corrigan Women’s Heart Health Program which has become a robust clinical, educational and research program.  In 2023 she was named the first Director of the Mass General Brigham Women’s Heart Health Program, with the goal of integrating education, clinical access and research across the enterprise.
