Dr. Meng is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She completed anesthesiology residency at Columbia University in 2014. She then went on to complete fellowships at Columbia in both Obstetric (2015) and Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (2016). At Vanderbilt, she practices as both a cardiothoracic and obstetric anesthesiologist. She is the Director of Cardio-Obstetric Anesthesia, and the Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology Research Dr. Meng’s research interests include preeclampsia and cardiac disease in pregnancy, specifically pulmonary hypertension, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure and cardiovascular risk prediction among people with preeclampsia.
