Jenica Thangathurai is a cardiologist specializing in women’s cardiovascular health, with expertise in cardio-obstetrics and lifelong care for women with complex cardiac conditions. Based at Los Angeles General Medical Center, she leads the Cardiac-Obstetrics Clinic and the Women’s Cardiovascular Clinic, offering comprehensive care for women during pregnancy and across all stages of life.

A graduate of the Keck School of Medicine at USC, Dr. Thangathurai completed her residency in internal medicine at LA General Medical Center/USC, where she also served as Chief Resident. She went on to complete her cardiology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA in Torrance, California, where she was Chief Fellow, before returning to LA General Medical Center to establish her practice.

Passionate about equitable healthcare delivery, Dr. Thangathurai is dedicated to improving outcomes for women. She proudly serves the diverse women of Los Angeles with culturally sensitive and accessible care.
