BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Eli Gutterman graduated with honors from the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rambam Health Care Campus, where he established a dedicated clinic for pregnant women with heart disease. He later expanded this unique service into the community throughout the Haifa and Northern regions.

Dr. Gutterman currently combines his work in the community with clinical practice at Carmel Medical Center. He serves as the Director of the High-Risk Pregnancy Service in the Haifa and Western Galilee District and at Carmel Medical Center, under Clalit Health Services

He is the founder and head of the High-Risk Pregnancy Clinic for Women with Heart Disease, established nearly 40 years ago at the Zvulun Medical Center.

Dr. Gutterman is also a respected lecturer and coordinator of academic training programs on high-risk pregnancy, with a focus on maternal heart disease. He has educated and mentored generations of medical students and residents from the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion and the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine at Bar-Ilan University in Safed.
