Challenges in Cardio-Obstetrics. Where Should Our Focus Be?
Submit your research abstract by 31 August 2022 and help professionals from around the world discover new paths to challenges and opportunities in cardio-obstetrics.
In just over two months, professionals from the cardio-obstetrics community will meet with Porto, Portugal, for CPP2022, to discuss the latest research, engage in rapid fire sessions and network.
According to Prof. Uri Elkayam, chair of the 7th International Congress on Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy (CPP2022), some of the topics that need our attention include, among others:
- Risk Assessment of the Cardiac Patient before and during Pregnancy
- Genetic Consultation
- Cardiovascular Imaging in the Pregnant Patient
- Pregnancy and the Cardio-oncologic Patient
- Heart Failure and Pregnancy, Drugs and Devices
Prof. Avraham Shotan, CPP2022 co-chair, says a number of invited speakers have already been confirmed for this year’s event that will be facilitated by Paragon Group. “CPP 2022 will include state of the art lectures, data from new studies, databases and registries, and fascinating cases.”
“Currently 130 abstracts have been accepted, many of them are going to be presented orally, and we expect more abstracts to be submitted by 31 August 2022,” says Prof. Shotan.
