Fetal Medicine and a Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. \u00a0 She established the MFM Cardiology Joint Program in 2015 in response to the rising contribution of cardiovascular related morbidity and mortality in pregnancy.\u00a0\u00a0The aim was to establish a multidisciplinary program to optimize the care of high-risk pregnant patients with known or suspected cardiac disease, as there is a real potential for communication gaps when patients are seen separately in contrast with parallel visits by different specialists.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0She works closely with the department of Cardiology both in the outpatient and inpatient setting to establish delivery plans and continued care postpartum.\u00a0\u00a0In addition, Dr. Wolfe has worked in global health and continues to use language skills mastered in the Peace Corps and in Peru.\u00a0 Bombara and Spanish are widely used where she currently practices at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York, as Maternal Fetal Medicine
